A Wider Yoga Mat for Big, Beautiful Bodies

Not as skinny as the cover girls on Yoga Journal?

No worries, most people aren’t. Though the media would have you believe that you have to be young and fit to practice yoga, the reality is quite the opposite — people of all shapes, ages, and sizes are practicing yoga today.

And now, there’s a wider yoga mat to better accommodate ample bodies (also perfect for skinny people who roll around a lot):

extra wide yoga mat photoThere’s a 36″ extra wide yoga mat on the market that will make your yoga experience much more comfortable.

This mat is a full foot wider than standard yoga mats (if you just need a couple extra inches, we recommend the Manduka black mat, which is denser).

The extra-wide yoga mat is also four inches longer and twice as thick as a regular yoga mat. It’s dimensions are 72″ long, 36″ wide (a full three feet), and 1/4 inch thick. And at less than $18? A bargain.

Buy your extra wide yoga mat here.

That is a nice mat. Where else are you going to find a 1/4 inch mat for less than $18?

Maybe ebay… but I’ll take the $18 deal over the hassle of having to deal with bidding and waiting ;)
